Rainbow Flutter - Butterfly Series

Thoughts from Mic:

We've created a show focused on vaginas to challenge artists and viewers, aiming to reshape our perception of them. While diving into the project, I faced numerous hurdles. Despite finding willing participants, concerns about the appearance of genitalia were widespread, with some people have resorting to reconstructive surgery. As a photographer, my aim is to foster acceptance and awareness, presenting them in a creative, beautiful or powerful manner. The butterfly concept was born from a mission to empower and showcase many women. I plan to do a series of 50 or possibly 100. I'll emphasize the importance of embracing yourself as you are, recognizing the mental struggle that many of us endure. Plans for a book later on with this project.
